STAR JASMINE SHAWL
Elegant and classy like the aroma of star jasmine flowers, this shawl offers the comfort of a triangular wrap combined with beautiful texture. Gentle flowers bloom on the fabric again and again as the piece grows on the needles.
The shawl is worked from the bottom point up, allowing the knitter to stop whenever they desire (or run out of yarn!). The stitch pattern is mostly composed of 3x1 rib, with dip stitches worked once in a few rows. The top is finished with an i-cord bind off. Small tassels can be added to accentuate pattern repeats and make the shawl more playful.
This pattern works great in a single colorway from solid to variegated. It can also be used for a two-toned shawl, with a contrasting color highlighting the jasmine flowers / dip stitches. Instructions for both are included. The pattern is both charted and written out, with videos for the trickiest techniques provided.
