MALLOW MITTENS

A new addition to the Mallow family (Mallow Cowl, Mallow Shawl), these mittens are richly decorated with a cable-looking design that doesn’t involve a single cable. It is composed of traveling stitches, a combination of simple increases and decreases. Gentle mallow flowers symbolize health and protection, and Mallow mittens carry this sentiment along with the coziness and comfort.

Two mittens are knit in a slightly different manner to accommodate the ergonomic thumbs. Stretchy ribbing on the palms is decorated with columns of wrapped stitches. The patterns open up beautifully when worn with a bit of negative ease. Both the charts and written row-by-row instructions are provided.
