CLOUD SLIPOVER

 

Cloud is a comfortable slipover that's full of soft flowing texture. Voluminous cowl neck, wide arm openings, and an oversized fit make it a perfect layering piece. It's easy to style and soft like a cloud, calling to be put on whenever extra warmth and coziness is needed.

Cloud Slipover is worked flat from the bottom up in soft and squishy Shaker Stitch. Front and back are worked independently and feature tubular cast on, built-in armhole finishing, and a few short rows at the shoulders. The cowl neck is worked separately as well, to have the ribbing align perfectly with the rest of the slipover once all the pieces are seamed together. The cowl is gently shaped with decreases to make it come closer to the neck inside of the fold for a more cozy fit.

The pattern is graded for ten sizes and has directions for two lengths, cropped and full. Split hem and longer back are also an option thanks to the way the piece is constructed. All of the main techniques used to make a slipover have short videos provided for illustration.
