BINDWEED SHAWL
A sister project to the Bindweed Cardigan, this piece offers the familiar comfort of a triangular shawl combined with beautiful textures. The fabric is richly decorated with a pattern of intertwined cables and nupps inspired by the dance of gentle bindweed plants. Rhythmic and intuitive, the pattern knits up faster than expected.
Bindweed Shawl is worked from tip to tip with increases along one edge for the first half of the pattern and mirrored decreases for the second. Stitch patterns include cables, nupps, and delicate faux cables along the edges. The pattern has detailed instructions on making three different shawl sizes. Directions are both charted and written out. Videos for nupps and cabling without a cable needle are provided.
